Heroes

'Heroes' is Directed by Samir Karnik. The director has come out with a very interesting plot and he has scored on both ends with perfect presentation and a fairly catching narrative.
An interesting tale of tales, the story is about two youngsters Sammy (Sohail) and Ali (Vatsal) who are happy go lucky guys and just don't take life seriously. Both of them are best buddies and they also happen to be student of a film school. So as part of their final assignment, they are given three letters and are asked to deliver it to their destinations in person. This journey of thousand miles is fun for them but soon life begins to unfold when they first come across the romantic couple Balkar Singh (Salman) and Kuljeet Kaur (Preity Zinta) and their energetic kid (Dwij Yadav).

Sammy and Ali see the fence between the Indian and Pakistani border and an incident takes place that leave Kuljeet hoping to see er husband back from the border. From there, they move on to their next destination that takes them to the brothers Vikram Shergill (Sunny) and Dhananjay Shergill (Bobby) and there happens a fight that really floors the two looking at the power of Vikram. However, things get emotional when Vikram receives the letter and gives his final homage to his darling brother Dhananjay. The final leg to the tour of Sammy and Ali ends when they reach the residence of Dr Naqvi (Mithun) and talk about Sahil Naqvi (Dino) with the letter. And what happens hereafter is to be seen on the screen.

Presentation:
The editing could have been better but a lot of credit goes to the cinematography and the music which was really mesmerizing. The script was strong, screenplay has been reasonably good, the dialogues had its share of strength though not always. The locations were really picturesque and the arrangement of the different chapters has been good. Salman Khan gave out a commendable performance and there was a lot of maturity in him, Preity was amazing and spoke like a typical Punjabi kudi. Sunny was at his muscular best and did his bit with grace while Bobby was there for a bit and did it without issues. Riya looked ravishing as usual and so was Amrita. Mithun did not have much to do as he has seen it all but Dino needs to improve further. Sohail has also shown a true actor inside him this time and Vatsal has come up with a good treat and has shown spark. Dwij did his bit with lot of enthusiasm and Hrishita looked hot.

Verdict:Good
